1)
What is this site all about?
We started out wanting to award the best of the best in fan-made music videos but as the years progressed more and more video sites opened up. We found we just could not keep up with the growing number of music videos out there so we have decided to close that portion of VE. While gathering sites to review and award we found we had amassed a huge inventory of music video sites so we will now focus on being the ultimate resource of fan-made music videos.
2) Can
I submit my site for your Resources page?
Absolutely.
Anyone who has a site with fan-made music videos can submit their site
for our Resources page. As long as the videos do not contain
any pornographic or racist material you can be listed on our
Resources page.
3) Will you ever award videos again?
Not like before, no. We will from time to time showcase one or more videos that we found exceptional or just stand out from the crowd but we have not decided how we plan to showcase them yet and there will be no set schedule to do so.
4) Will you keep the Hall of Fame page up?
Absolutely! All of the wonderful videos we have awarded in the past will stay posted on the site.
5) What about Fade to Black?
Fade to Black will now be a part of the Video Elite site and serve as an information resource to vidders about clip theft and a resource for beginning vidders on how to get started without using someone else's clips.
6) Will you help the victims of clip theft go after the thiefs?
No, that is not our objective at Fade to Black. We want only to provide as much information to the victim on what to do should that happen to them. We want to have as much information as possible for the new vidders so that they can obtain their own material for making videos. We are not the music video police but we will try to answer any questions you may have.
